Terms of Use & Disclaimer
Last updated: 14 August 2026.
By using MatQuo you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What MatQuo provides
MatQuo presents indicators derived from official public data: exchange rates, trade unit values, producer-price indices, energy spot prices, import tariffs and related information. These are contextual indicators, not live market quotes. In particular, customs unit values are declared trade averages (total declared value divided by net mass), and producer-price indices are index proxies — neither should be treated as a spot, contract or transaction price.
Not a trading, sourcing or brokerage service
MatQuo does not sell, source, broker, distribute, or arrange transactions in industrial materials, and does not provide procurement, sourcing, brokerage, or materials-trading services. It is a public-data information and calculator platform only. All content is derived from public, official and independently sourced data; MatQuo does not use any confidential, proprietary or employment-derived information.
No warranty on accuracy
We work from official sources and aim to present them faithfully, but we do not guarantee that any figure is accurate, current, complete or free of error. Data may be delayed, revised by the source, or temporarily unavailable. Tariff figures are indicative — the legally applicable duty for a specific product and origin must be confirmed in the EU's official TARIC system. You rely on any figure at your own risk.
Third-party data and links
MatQuo reuses data from third parties (including Eurostat, the European Central Bank, the U.S. Energy Information Administration and the European Commission) under their respective free-reuse terms, and links to third-party websites and news publishers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of those external sources, and their own terms apply when you use them.
Intellectual property
The MatQuo name, design, original text and the way the data is organised and presented are ours. The underlying public data remains the property of, and is attributed to, its original providers. You may link to MatQuo freely. Please do not scrape, copy or republish the site wholesale.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatQuo and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect or consequential — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or any figure on it. The site is provided "as is" and "as available".
Changes
We may update these terms or the site itself at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
